4th!

So this week, we had a Sarah photo session, grilled out for the 4th, played with Sarah and Brett finished most of the baby proofing.

It is hot out there!!

With this weekend of 100 degree weather we didn't go crazy with outdoor activities.

On Friday we went to a local business with our friends, Ben and Selen.  It was airconditioned but the door opening every two seconds did not help the heat factor. Sarah had a melt down around 8, but it was hot and no place to crawl!

On Saturday we went to a friends birthday party (Dawn!!) and Sarah was happy to attend and show off her new skills.

Lastly,  we had a few shopping errands to run on Sunday.  Which of course, was super hot too!  We enjoyed the temparature in the Container Store!

So behind!

I am behind on my post. After the crazy red-eye flight, I have been running around trying to keep up.  Sarah's Daddy took her to her 9 month appointment.  She is 27.5 inches, 18 lbs 9.0 oz, and head of 45.5 cms.  This is about 50% for everything and a bit more for her head.  She is average, yay!!!

Let's see since the trip, we went to visit Sarah's grandpa who was healing from surgery, we had Father's day, went to visit my hometown for my best friend's wedding  and see my family.  We are now back in town.  Due to the craziness I haven't taken that many pictures lately.  I will see what I can find and post below.

On the food front, Sarah doesn't love cheese but looooves her vanilla yogurt. We will see what she says about the plain and the Greek yogurt this week!

Sarah can also wave now.  She doesn't quite understand who to wave at, ie. the elevator female announcer that states what floor you are on.  However, she did wave at me when I got up to get some food to say goodbye. Melts your heart!  Once it gets more consistent I will get a picture.  She is also pulling herself to standing on anything she can.  (I couldn't get your photo onto my album - sorry Dad!)

Trip to CA

Sarah and my mom joined me on a trip to work to sunny California.  Here are some pictures on the trip.
