Chuggington

Sarah has become a big fan of Chuggington. Yep, I let her watch tv before age 2, but it makes it so much easier in the mornings especially since I have a neverending cold( not to mention food poisoning this weekend).

She rather watch the show than eat breakfast, carry purses, etc. It is quite impressive.  She throws herself onto the couch all by herself and doesn't mind sitting there. She sits there wide eyed and most of the time very erect. As soon as it ends, she pops off and runs off to do something else.

If this pace keeps up we may be buying a train set.

Sorta spring weekend....

On Saturday afternoon we went to see the Harlem globetrotters courtesy of work. She did pretty well but I don't think we are quite ready yet for the regular seats.  She liked the massive blow up basketball player  and the dancers that came on the court during halftime.  We were complimented on her outfit b/c I guess it looks very sport?!?! Oh well, at least my kid can be put together.

Sarah looking down at the action

Dad and Sarah enjoying the city view.
Later that night we went to a friend's birthday. We knew it was time to go (and b/c we were the only one with a kid and definitely bed time!) when Sarah wouldn't let us throw away her dirty diaper.

New things this week.

She knows the word No. So sad.

She holds the remote out and presses the buttons. Her success rate is much higher now at changing the channels unfortunately.

At school her teacher told me she says brown and red.

She also told me that Sarah was sweet on the new kid in the class and waved at him flirtily.

Sarah was a terror today at church and sent her cheerios flying across the main aisle. nice!!!!

Little girls don't like dirt

I don't know why but Sarah naturally doesn't seem to like dirt.  If she gets it on her hand she immediately holds it up in the air to you to show you that her hand is dirty and for you to clean it off.  The little boys around her age seem to love to dig in the dirt and don't even notice it.

Busy Busy

We had a pretty active Saturday.  Car maintenance, Chick-fil-a, shopping, park, home tours - another house fell through, dinner at a friends to celebrate St. Pat's.

Testing out the gangplank in one neighborhood's park..
She wanted to go to the big kids area shortly. P.S. The house where this is got an offer the next day. Insane!
Here are a few pictures
Fingerpaints!

I used the butcher paper from my most recent Amazon purchase as her drawing paper. Worked pretty well until she decided to fling everything onto the floor (the tape didn't do much to stop her). Oh and her hands were blue for awhile. I think I am done with that Pinterist post about getting everything from dollar tree.

Speedy!

Sarah is supposedly the fastest one in the class.  Her new teacher at the end of the day calls her the "runner".

Sarah requested a new ball at Target this weekend. She wouldn't let it out of her sight -- even to sleep.
